On behalf of the Wolverine Athletic Booster Club (WABC), we are excited to begin winter sports! Our athletes are unsure of how COVID regulations will impact their season, but one thing is for sure…they NEED YOUR SUPPORT now more than ever. It’s time to BRING THE HYPE!!
The WABC has created a fundraiser called “Fans in the Stands.” With a few easy clicks and an uploaded photo, our athletes will see your face at home competitions held in the gym regardless of pandemic protocols. This is just like the cut-out images you may have seen at pro and college games this season…
Click the link http://westpotomachs.colornetprinting.com/ to begin creating your 2’X3’ image that will be displayed at each home competition. Have fun with this! Include props, pets, posters, pom-poms, celebrities, alumni…anything that shows your support of West Potomac’s athletic teams.
Orders are due by December 31st, and they will be ready for the first home events of 2021. Get started now! Show your student-athletes how proud you are of them!
We want West Potomac’s stands to be filled with Fans in the Stands! Don’t miss out on this fun opportunity to show support! Hope to “see” you there!
Thanks for your support of this fundraiser and your support of the WABC! Happy Holidays and…Go Wolverines!
Dear West Potomac Wolverine Fans,
We miss you and wish we were all together cheering on our Mighty Wolverines! This year has been a challenge, but we are hopeful for our three upcoming seasons that are scheduled to begin in December! We are proud of our athletes who are conditioning, staying motivated, and full of Wolverine excitement. We feel confident that you share this hope and pride with us.
Each year the WABC raises significant funds that support our athletic programs. In addition to providing uniforms, equipment and field maintenance the WABC also funded big improvements such as the new Wolverdome, an updated weight room and the indoor batting cages. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic we lost all our largest fundraising opportunities this year including the spring mulch sale, fall membership game pass drive and this winter’s Christmas Tree sale.
As a result, we are launching FANS-GIVING, an online direct appeal platform to financially support the WABC. Please see our link above. We ask you to consider donating to our Wolverine Athletics; without your support we will have trouble supporting West Potomac athletics through 2021.
We are thankful for you, the generous and dedicated West Potomac High School FANS who keep our athletes going.
Students, families, and fans are invited to join the WOLVERINE ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB (WABC) This year brings us many unknowns but we are still Wolverine STRONG! We will be offering game passes once we know a bit more about the upcoming seasons and the rules on fans. West Po fans are always welcome to make a general donation of their choice by using the links on the Donor and Sponsorship page
GO WOLVERINES!
